Kennet Furniture Refurbiz’ service provides people with an affordable way to buy household furniture and appliances in the knowledge that they are safe and fit for purpose. We specifically aim to provide for low income households by offering discounted prices to those that qualify.
Items are received through our collection service which is offered to the whole county including Swindon. Many clients make a donation for this service to dispose of items that are no longer of use to them but are of great quality.
To achieve all our work we rely on a number of volunteers in a broad range of roles from cleaners to drivers, carpenters to engineers. For those volunteers seeking paid employment we support them during their time with us by providing experience, skills, knowledge and job seeking advice.
